New TMHPR Dogs!

Check out some of our new arrivals!  All of these dogs are now safe and part of TMHPR!  Please email info@takemehomepetrescue.com for adoption info, thanks!

Meet Bonnie and Clyde, sadly they were dumped in a retail area where they lived for three days with people just passing them by like they weren't even there. Now they are looking for their forever homes where people will give them the love they deserve! We estimate they were born at the end of Nov.

Clyde & Bonnie

These black puppies were rescued after someone intervened when they heard the owner was going to shoot them because he didn't want puppies! Well get your dog spayed then, geez! 3 boys and 1 girl, they'll be ready for adoption in early March.

Hard to believe someone was going to shoot these poor babies!

Maggie is another lucky dog that was rescued from the streets of Dallas.  We estimate she was born around April 2011 and is about 25 lbs.  She is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone and is very friendly!  She's also housetrained and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.

Hannah and her family were recently featured on the channel 11 news...unfortunately two of her siblings were found with zip ties tied tightly around their necks.  Sadly, her brother did not survive but her sister was rescued from the streets just in the nick of time, had surgery and is recovering at Operation Kindness.  They are a local no-kill shelter and they also took in the momma dog and one other puppy.  Hannah was lucky as she didn't have a cord around her neck.  However she ended up at the local animal shelter so we rescued her, as we were involved in the rescue of the rest of her family and wanted to ensure Hannah goes to a wonderful home!  We are so glad we saved her as she is a delightful pup who is so full of life!  Here's the story of Hannah's family: http://operationkindnessanimalshelter.blogspot.com/2012/02/zip-tie-puppy-and-mom-recovering-at.html and here's the link to the news coverage: http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2012/01/27/puppies-rescued-in-east-dallas-after-one-pup-is-strangled/
